Every year during Onam, families create intricate floral carpets called Pookalams to welcome the return of the benevolent King Mahabali. Starting from a central design, each Pookalam blossoms outward through the Chithira Valayam (Inner Ring) and the Thiruvona Valayam (Outer Ring), with every flower carefully arranged into a vibrant display of symmetry.
In Pookalam, you'll draft Flower Cards from the Garden, build your own Pookalam ring by ring, compete for Mahabali’s favours, and earn Victory Points (VP) for crafting the most beautiful and symmetrical design.
The player with the most Victory Points wins.
